okie dokes, its been a while because I am guilty of not checking DA often, so
decided to paint me again.
like, on my back I assume since I can't see it.
I also have no recollection of being "tagged" so I assume it was after being knocked unconscious or something of the sort.
again.
Five things about this guy-
- I'm rather lazy - I don't upload or produce that often nor as often as I'd like
- I have two dogs - Peanut and Jelleh (or Jhelly) both are a pain in the arse but are adorable so they stay
- I have been frequently mistaken to be African - turns out I'm Mexican, everyone passes 5 bucks to the one gal who guessed it right the first time (friend of mine's sister did, still not sure how, convinced she's psychic)
- I have a fear of being over-estimated, as well as under-estimated for some reason
- I saw Pacific Rim twice - worth it.
so some questions for me to answer so that I can regain a valid DA soul
- Is there something you loved to do as a child that you still do now?
- What/Who inspires you?
- Have you ever been in a life-threatening situation? If yes, D: what happened?
- What pleases and what irks you about people?
- What do you pride yourself on most of all?
- What, if anything, would you like to have happen to you the next time you walk out the door?
- Do you believe in fate, and why?
- Have you ever regretted meeting someone? If yes, who and why?
- What is your main motto, or principle for living?
- If you could change one thing about your personality, what would it be?
- What is the most "extreme" thing you've done in your whole life? (so far)
ah crap these actually require me to be interesting..
- Is there something you loved to do as a child that you still do now?
-Video games, done next question.
oh fine
also cheesy movies, (Starship Troopers is still one of my favorites)
and bike riding, especially since I get around now-a-days via driving, its nice to have more maneuverability and not have to worry too much about which way you go.
-For one, Anthony Burch (wrote Borderlands 2, and HAWP) is a pretty cool guy, I'd say he's an inspiration partly because he appreciates games and their potential for story telling as a legitimate art form.
-I also feel like Mythbusters was a pretty big inspiration for me getting into physics, it's just interesting man.
- Have you ever been in a life-threatening situation? If yes, D: what happened?
-I don't think I actually ever have been in such a situation, but I vaguely recall some things that felt life-threatening but not really up to the super dangerous scale
-friends and I almost got run over by some guy while we were walking to circle k (age 14-15 I think)
-at a friend's cabin and we thought for sure wasps were going to kill us (probably age 10-11)
-I thought I plagiarized a thing because fan fiction (age 15-16 I don't remember)
so edgy right?
I'm a wimp, I know
- What pleases and what irks you about people?
-pleases
-when people offer a legitimate rebuttal to a statement, even if it contradicts my point of view
-when they allow others to turn in front of them because sometimes traffic is a pain
-when they have a sense of humour (to an extent)
-when we can have a discussion about movies and games
-irks (I like this word)
-when they can't be arsed to use their blinker
-band wagoners - in all honesty I've done it too, maybe that's why it irks me
- What do you pride yourself on most of all?
-hehehe....
well, some projects I have pride for, to an extent, they're not amazing but I'm content with the result, mostly school projects, and at that mostly art projects.
but non-school related; I do feel proud when I clear a game on a high difficulty, or generally do better than normal in a game
feels good
- What, if anything, would you like to have happen to you the next time you walk out the door?
-for one, I'd like my truck to not eat all the gas (I'm so sorry everyone)
but realistically, I'd like to have some confidence that I can actually do stuff today, also not forget stuff, like car keys, ever lock yourself out of your house at 6 am? no one leaves satisfied
- Do you believe in fate, and why?
-to an extent, or maybe I just like to think that the pieces fall where they may and I have no control over that.
though I do like to think that there is fate, but not all controlling, some things happen, others people need to make happen
- Have you ever regretted meeting someone? If yes, who and why?
-just two that I can think of, I'll use alt names just in case
-[SUBJECT A]
-met this guy in 5th grade if I recall correctly, he seemed alright, but he's rather annoying sometimes, he's a nice guy, but like I said, can be annoying. I try to hang out with him when invited if I have the time partly because friends but also because sympathy. he is a little spoiled and acts it too, which makes it sort of difficult to interact and I feel bad about turning him down :/
not quite regret, but maybe a little
-[SUBJECT B]
-met this guy in freshman year of high school, he seemed okay at first but over time he just got more cocky, really touchy-feel-y, and full of shit, difficult to work with because ego, difficult to communicate with because ego. I actively avoid him now, don't have the heart to tell him to leave because that would be sort of a dick move on my part, other friends also enjoy his company to an extent so whatevs.
-only this year did he finally switch schools, which I feel guilty for feeling so good about it, I certainly don't envy him, but I also have little sympathy since he tried little.
- What is your main motto, or principle for living?
-"Don't be a dick" -Wil Wheaton
I know the internet is in love with him so it seems like the obvious response, but I still think its a good quote (he's also a pretty cool guy)
admittedly, I can be, and sometimes am a dick, most of the time for laughs because my friends and I do that, but in the past I have been unfairly judging people and in fact I probably still do that now, and I feel bad about it.
- If you could change one thing about your personality, what would it be?
-I wish I had more confidence in general, then maybe I'd do stuff more frequently, or, you know, actually work out or something.
(OR USE LESS COMMAS JEEZE MAN)
-or maybe I just want to be less lazy
- What is the most "extreme" thing you've done in your whole life? (so far)
-exhtreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeme you shay?
I did 50 in a 40 mph zone once
also phoenix comic con
also asked a girl out
